The Nursery

Finally here are some pictures of our completed nursery....yea!!! Jeff did such a great job, I love it!!

The only thing missing to officially complete the nursery is his name!! If we ever decide on a name it will go above the crib and look like this:


(We love having welders in the family, it comes in so handy!!)

Baby Shower

We had one more baby shower at my Aunt's house with our family and friends in the Sacramento area, and a few of our friends even traveled up from So Cal to be with us...thanks Andrea, Jon and Serenity. Thank you for coming, it was awesome to hang out with you all!!

Here are a few of the pictures we took at the shower. We only got a few because we forgot to charge the battery to the camera. I think the new theme of my post is going to begin to revolve around us forgetting something!!

Thank you again Mom, Meg, Grandma and Tami for putting together another wonderful shower for us. And thank you to all our friends and family being there with us to celebrate Baby Starkel. We love you all!!

Baby Shower

Last weekend Meg and my Mom put on an awesome baby shower for us at my Mom's house. We had so much fun catching up with friends we haven't seen in awhile. And we got so many great gifts for the baby, we can't wait to get to use them!!

They did such a great job decorating!

Thank you Meg and Mom for all your hard work, it was such a perfect shower for us. Jeff, Baby Starkel (aka the kid) and I are truly grateful. And thanks to all our guests for joining us in celebrating our little miracle.

Nursery

Jeff started painting the nursery the other week. I came up with the brilliant idea of doing stripes on the walls so he has been painting for a couple weeks now! We also ordered the furniture for the room last week, so it will start to come together soon, but for now here are some pics of the progress Jeff's has made!
