A's Game and Easter

We went to the Bay Area for Easter to see my family and go to the A's vs Giants game. My Dad got us a luxury suite for the game so the kids could run around and play.Ethan had a blast but was so exhausted from missing nap time he actually slept in the car on the way home. I am not even sure what the final score was because we were so busy chasing Ethan or talking to friends that we never sat down to watch the game!

And then the next day was Easter. The weather did not cooperate for us. It was cold and rained in the afternoon. But we had enough time in the morning to sneak outside for a quick Easter egg hunt. The Easter bunny came to Grammie and Poppy's house and left the boys an Easter basket filed with toys and candy (for mommy and daddy of course!).

Santa Barbara

We made our 1st family trip down to Santa Barbara a couple weeks ago. We anticipated Ethan doing awful in the car so we planned stops every 2 1/2 hours. The way down to SB wasn't too bad but the way home was awful!! A 7 hour car ride and he slept for 20 minutes, even the DVD player wouldn't make him happy...and he we all know Bob the tomato makes him smile every time.

Jeff had to work most of the trip so Ethan and I hung out during the day. We went to UCSB and got him a sweatshirt. I never thought I would go back to campus pushing a stroller and looking 9 months pregnant....I can only imagine what I sight I was!

Our trip was only a few days but we managed to see a lot of friends and visited Jeff at work. Ethan got to meet all his co-workers and destroy their cubicles (he loved that part).

We took Ethan to the beach as 1 of our stops on the way down to SB. He wasn't too sure what think of the water and sand but he seemed to like running around.

Pumpkin Patch

Its almost Ethan's first Halloween so of course we had to take him to the pumpkin patch. Not to pick pumpkins but to take some pictures!

A's Game

My Dad has season tickets to the A's game so we took Ethan the family to another A's game. We had great seats and it was the game that they retired Rickie Henderson's jersey...so it was packed. Needless to say that made the game hard to watch for Ethan. All the clapping and cheering was not making him happy...so I decided to leave and take him home and let everyone else stay and enjoy the game....too bad I got lost in the parking lot with E and couldn't find the car. So Jeff had to leave the game early too and come home with us....and in early I mean 3 ining...oh well...it was a good attempt...better luck next year, right?

We had my friend from college take some pics of the kids and us too. She did a great job especially with the kids she had to work with. Jake just wanted to swim and Ethan was screaming because he was in the midst of teething. Here are some of my favorites!!

Summer Updates!

Okay, so I have neglected my blog this summer. So be prepared for lots of updates this week!!

At the begining of August we went to Lake Tahoe with my family. We spent a lot of time at the beach but managed to do some shopping and wine tasting.
