Long time...no post...

Wow, I have been a major slacker on the blog!

Since my last post we celebrated Ethan's 1st Thanksgiving, took him on the "train of lights", and most importantly Ethan turned 1!!

Okay I am working on blog post to catch up! But I can't end the post with no updates or pictures so here is our big news for today!

Ethan's going to be a big brother this June!!

And in even bigger news..............

We are pregnant with TWINS!

We will have 3 kids under the age of 18 months.....wow!!!

We're Pregnant

Well, we were a year ago! We will never forget the day we found out, it was an answered prayer! We found out as we were leaving for the kings game on April 11 but didn't tell anyone until we got the best call ever. It was from the fertility clinic saying "Congratulations, your pregnant"!!

After so many failed attempts finally a congratulations, we are still to this day speachless and beyond blessed to have Ethan in our lives.

It was Saturday April 13, 2008 that it became official, we were pregnant!! That day also happens to be my moms bday.

So i made her a card that said on the outside...
"Sorry you have to wait for your present this year......"


And on the inside the card read
"But one or two of us decided to stick around"

(yes one of these embroyos is Ethan!!)

"And we will be here around Decemeber 22, 2008"

Almost there!! My belly is huge and I don't think it has dropped any :(.....so sad!!

Cankles and Thankles

Need I say more?!?!?! Okay maybe, how about.....
Me + Pregnancy = NOT CUTE!!!

Unless you think this is cutepretty soon I might get "thankles", where you thighs get so big you can't see your cankles...oh but wait...I have this big belly in the way....so I can't see my legs anyways!

And before I can end my most ridiculous blog post ever, check these out!! I hope my legs don't look that in 6 weeks!

So really the cankles aren't that bad, just annoying and painful but they are only temporary and the result will be more than worth it. And in a few months I will probably forget all about the pain and annoyances and be ready to do this all over again!!

Okay, maybe not!!

32 Week Belly Pics

Finally an updated belly pic. I am getting huge!!

I can't wait to be done....7 weeks max!! My cankles and legs are so swollen, I can't move my ankles and it hurts to bend my knees...it gets worse each week. My doc has already offered disability but I am going to try and get through 3 more weeks of work.

Oh and for some good news I passed my gestational diabetes test....yea!!!!

Baby Shower

We had one more baby shower at my Aunt's house with our family and friends in the Sacramento area, and a few of our friends even traveled up from So Cal to be with us...thanks Andrea, Jon and Serenity. Thank you for coming, it was awesome to hang out with you all!!

Here are a few of the pictures we took at the shower. We only got a few because we forgot to charge the battery to the camera. I think the new theme of my post is going to begin to revolve around us forgetting something!!

3D Ultrasound

We did the 3D ultrasound at 29 weeks. The baby is head down with his face to my back so the it was hard to get good pics of his face. We got a few side profile pictures but none of his whole face. I guess it somewhat gives an idea of what he will look like, it still seems hard to tell to me! And his face is pushed up against something in there so he looks little smashed in some of the pictures, in other pictures the u/s tech did a good job getting the picture adjusted right.

Baby Shower

Last weekend Meg and my Mom put on an awesome baby shower for us at my Mom's house. We had so much fun catching up with friends we haven't seen in awhile. And we got so many great gifts for the baby, we can't wait to get to use them!!

They did such a great job decorating!

28 Week Belly Pics

Finally some updated belly pics!



At 27 weeks pregnant I got my first "stranger" to comment on the fact that I am prego! I was at the gym and a lady walked past me and pointed at my bump and said "it is so cute, when are you due?" When I said December she took a second glance and told me how little I was! And from that moment on I get a least one stranger a day who asks when I am due or makes some type of comment about my belly! I am happy to be out of the fat stage (finally) and into the pregnant stage, even it that means I can't put my own socks on!!

Cankles

I continue to get told how little I am for being 28 weeks. I feel huge and can't believe I ever used to fit into the clothes in my closet. I have still been wearing my normal jeans and a larger size from regaular stores but I do have a couple maternity tops. Anyways, my mom and sis used to call me SLB (skinny little b***ch) and now they call me that with prego at the end.
So, we were at my Grandma's 80th birthday and everyone was telling me the how little I am, and my cousin kept asking how I stay "skinny" while pregnant and that I need to write a book on this.
Okay, seriously people! Did you see that belly from 28 weeks? It's huge! And if it looks little to you check out these cankles...nothing about these are little!!

But thank you for the compliments, even if I don't believe you!!

24 Week Belly Pics

Only a few more weeks until we are finally in the 3rd (and final) trimester!!



This week has been a week of many firsts!

1. I got cankles!! They were horrible, I never knew how much they hurt. I used to laugh at people when they got them, I never understood how miserable they make you...so sorry if I laughed at you!

2. You can see the baby kick and move while looking at my stomach!

3. He doesn't stop kicking and moving, he is one active little boy! Up until this week he had his "active" times, I always knew when the kicks were coming but now they just don't stop.

4. I actually left the gym the other day feeling completely worn out and tired, not the normal refreshed and feeling good. I have been determined to continue to run and lift weights until 30 weeks, but the baby might not be liking this plan.
