Ethan's 1st Birthday

Ethan's birthday party was over a month ago but I know some of you who couldn't make it wanted to see pictures. We invited our families and friends so it was mainly adults but there were a few kids....next year the kids might out number the adults... a lot of us are pregnant. I found monkey stuffed animals and you stuff them yourself so we had a little "build-a-monkey" table. The kids seemed to love it!!

Ethan wasn't too sure about everyone singing "happy birthday" to him

He wasn't happy about the cake. He wanted nothing to do with it....maybe because it "allergy friendly"...no eggs, no dairy, no wheat, etc. Oh well, it was worth a try!
We put Cheerios on it in hopes he would dig in but no luck!

But he loved opening the presents and couldn't wait for all his new toys!

Thank you everyone who helped Ethan celebrate his birthday! We had a great time!!

We had snow!!

Back in December we had snow. We don't get snow here very often (maybe once every few years) so it was awesome to get this much snow. The schools were closed and kids were snowboarding and sledding down the hills. Ethan wasn't a big fan of the snow...maybe next time!

Long time...no post...

Wow, I have been a major slacker on the blog!

Since my last post we celebrated Ethan's 1st Thanksgiving, took him on the "train of lights", and most importantly Ethan turned 1!!

Okay I am working on blog post to catch up! But I can't end the post with no updates or pictures so here is our big news for today!

Ethan's going to be a big brother this June!!

And in even bigger news..............

We are pregnant with TWINS!

We will have 3 kids under the age of 18 months.....wow!!!

This is the 1st thing he does every morning! We have locks on most of the cabinets but there are a few we let him play with. He just loves to pull eveything out and if he sees or hears you put it away he will come back and pull it out all over again!

My baby reads!!

Ethan could be the poster child for those infomericals that swear babies can read by 18 months. He loves to read books with us and when he's playing on his own he always goes for the books and starts "reading". We have a genius on our hands and it is definetly from his Mom's side of the family...hahaha!!!
