Leaving the hospital

We were all released from the hospital on Friday and have been trying to settle in at home. Ethan is the best baby and we are having fun getting to know the little one. Here are some pictures from the past 4 days in the hospital.

Ethan was born December 16th at 2:10 p.m. 7.11 and 19 inches long. He is perfect in absolutely every way and we couldn’t be more in love!

It's begining to look a lot like Christmas....

We are ready for Christmas, the house is decorated, the presents are wrapped, I have watched every Christmas movie we own and I am ready to start baking some cookies.

And my favorite Christmas items....remember the movie A Christmas Story? Check out the leg lamp night light and leg lamp candle holder below...thanks Dad!!

Oh and did I mention we will have a baby with us for Christmas this year? I guess that is the one thing that still has to happen before the holiday. We got the baby stuff assembled and ready to go, now we just need the baby.

And in case you haven't heard he is scheduled to be here on December 16th (unless he comes sooner...but don't count on it). That means we have the OR and doctor scheduled and this is a for sure thing happening in less than 7 days.

Kid Mobile

This is a long over due post but back in September we got our first kid friendly car. We have only driven it a handle of times and it probably still has less than 100 miles on it after 3 months!!

The Nursery

Finally here are some pictures of our completed nursery....yea!!! Jeff did such a great job, I love it!!

The only thing missing to officially complete the nursery is his name!! If we ever decide on a name it will go above the crib and look like this:
